Intelligent Designs LLC ("us", "we", or "our") operates a Personal Security Network Service (the "Service") and the associated Bodyguard, Virtual Defender Application (the "Application"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Service and the Application.
We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Service which you can access through the Application. By using the Service and the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
While using our Service and the Application, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, your email address, other personal details ("Personal Information"), and financial details necessary to collect payments ("Financial Information"). As part of the core Service functionality, the Application can be instructed by you (the "User") to manually or automatically collect, upload to the cloud, store, and share sensitive personal security data ("Security Data") in the form of security media recordings and location information. The security media recordings may include, at your discretion, audio recordings, still image snapshots, or video recordings.
Your Security Data, in the form of location data and security media recordings, are collected only when you choose to activate a particular function specifically designed for this purpose. The Application will clearly identify any instance when security data collection is taking place, whether on the device's screen, or by means of the notification center, or another such method.
Your Security Data collection stops when you direct the Application to deactivate the corresponding security media recording and location data collection functions.
Use of Personal Information
We use your Personal Information to identify you to other Users within the Service. We identify you only to the Users that you have selected to be within your Personal Security Network, given the contacts information available on your device. We do not identify you to anyone else using our Service, or anyone else outside our Service, with the exception of emergency situations discussed below.
We do not access or use your contacts information in any other way, and we do not share it with anyone, or any other entity.
We do not use your Personal Information to serve advertisements to you, or anyone else, and we do not share your Personal Information with anyone, or any entity, for that purpose.
Occasionally, there may arise an emergency situation, such as a missing person case, or another similar scenario, that could potentially benefit you through the sharing of your Personal Information and/or your Security Data with an investigating authority, or another official body, such as, but not limited to, a first-responder authority. You may choose to opt-out of the sharing of your Personal Information and/or Security Data by making an appropriate selection of the corresponding option — Authorize Security Data Release. Please refer to the General Options of the Settings main menu item.
Use of Financial Information
We use your Personal and Financial Information to collect payment for the Service we provide. We rely on a third party to provide actual billing services to us. Your Personal and Financial Information is passed to that service for the purposes of verifying your identity and billing. The billing service may send your Personal and Financial Information to credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.
We save your Financial Information as part of your Bodyguard account for your convenience only. You can always remove your Financial Information from your account, if you so choose.
We do not use your Financial Information or share your Financial Information with anyone for any reason, other than the aforementioned.
Use of Security Data
The Security Data that the Application generates on your behalf and under your direction are for your benefit and the benefit of others who are part of your Personal Security Network. We do not share this data with others, unless we have your authorization as described previously, in the context of an emergency situation.
Your Security Data are not your property, and we reserve the right to delete your Security Data from our network at any time and for any or no reason.
Your Security Data have a limited shelf-life as to their relevance for personal security purposes, and the Application automatically deletes these data on a periodic basis as described in the Subscriptions and Quotas Help sections.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information for limited marketing purposes to promote the adoption and usage of the Application and the Service by contacting you directly. You may opt-out of being contacted by making an appropriate selection of the corresponding option — Allow Marketing Contact. Please refer to the General Options of the Settings main menu item.
Security
The security of all your information is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use best available means to protect your Personal Information, Financial Information, and Security Data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We take the following steps to protect your Personal Information, Financial Information, and Security Data.
We use industry standard advanced encryption methods to protect your Personal Information, Financial Information, and the location data portion of your Security Data. Specifically, we use AES with 256-bit block and key lengths. This method of encryption is considered the "gold standard" of data encryption. Your Personal Information, Financial Information, and Security Data are always transmitted over the Internet using encrypted protocols — https. All data are securely stored in the cloud using Google's Firebase product.
Personal Information Removal
You can modify or remove from our Service your Personal and Financial Information by updating your Bodyguard account data using the Manage Account item accessible from the main menu.
You can also remove any portion of your Security Data at any time by choosing the corresponding item and executing the associated delete function. You can remove any security recording by accessing the corresponding Library — either the Audio Library, Image Library, or the Video Library, through the main menu. In each library, you are always able to remove either the locally stored media recordings, or the media stored in the cloud, whether in the live storage location, or the archive storage location. You can also always remove any of your location data stored in the cloud by executing the associated delete function when accessing these data in the Location History page, accessible from the main menu.
Additionally, you can delete and permanently remove from our Service your Personal Information, Financial Information, and all Security Data, at any time, by deleting your Bodyguard account. To delete your account, proceed to the Manage Account item of the main menu, and select the Delete Entire Account option from the drop-down list of options accessible from the upper right-hand corner of the title bar.
This action will remove all Personal Information, Financial Information, and Security Data with the exception of prior payment history data, accessible from the main menu through the Payment History item. Your payment history data are retained for our records and can become visible to you should you reinstate your account at a later date.
To limit the potential for abuse of our systems, you will not be able to reinstate your Bodyguard account for a period of 24 hours immediately following deletion of your account.
Do Not Track
We do not provide targeted advertising, or even have the ability to track our users across third party websites. Therefore, do not track requests do not apply to the Bodyguard Application, or the Personal Security Network Service we provide.

Your Data Protection Rights
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of your data protection rights.
The Right to Access — You have the right to request Intelligent Designs LLC for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The Right to Rectification — You have the right to request that Intelligent Designs LLC correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
The Right to Erasure — You have the right to request that Intelligent Designs LLC erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The Right to Restrict Processing — You have the right to request that Intelligent Designs LLC restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The Right to Object to Processing — You have the right to object to processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The Right to Data Portability — You have the right to request that Intelligent Designs LLC transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Privacy Policies of Other Service Providers
We use third party providers to host our Service's database and to collect payments. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our Application and Service.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 3, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Application and the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website, or within the Application.
